Many people wonder what happens to animals after they die. Do they have souls like human beings that are eternal, and ascend into God’s Kingdom of Heaven after physical death or do they just cease to exist?

There are numerous verses in biblical scripture that mention animals existing in heaven. One of the most profound statements about animals in heaven is stated in The Book of Isaiah - 65.25: "The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in any of my holy mountains, saith the Lord thy God."

Animals are also mentioned in the Book of Revelation, verses 4:6 – 4:9 and 5:11 where it describes beasts, a Lion, a Calf, and an Eagle, etc., that dwell in-and-around-about the thrown of God. These are the holiest of animals selected by God to join with the thrown Angels and Elders to give praise to the Sacrificial Lamb, the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Based on this statement by God, this would indicate that there are places in heaven where animals do exist, and that they do not attack, harm or consume one another, and that they dwell in peace and harmony together. Also, this would indicate these animals are spiritual in composition, and each one possesses an eternal soul and character that distinguishes them apart, just like human souls.

However, the soul of an animal is spiritually different then the soul of a human being. The primary difference is earthly animals do not know the difference between good and evil; they do not sin, and they do not face judgment from God. Their souls do, however, possess a carefully caculated level of intellect, memory, and emotions, and they can generate love, joy, happiness and affection.

It states in Romans - 8:21, that creatures (animals) also shall be delivered from bondage into the glorious liberty of the resurrected souls of mankind, referred to as the Children of God.

And for the sake and joy of all the resurrected souls of mankind, God shall resurrect the earthly bodies of any animals or creatures that were loved, kept and cared for by Human Beings on Earth, and the animal's earthly character shall be restored to it's spiritual body. God shall give them immortality, and place them in their own celestial kingdom which God will name: “The Kingdom of Animalia”, and God will provide food for them from the celestial heavens.

And the Christ, The Son of Man shall have dominion over it, and all the animals that mankind loved and cared for on Earth shall be made available to their previous earthly keepers, and The Son of Man, Jesus Christ, shall give to the souls of mankind the power to come and enter The Kingdom of Animalia, and locate any animals that they loved on Earth, and take them unto their heavenly mansion and dwell with them, and each animal shall remember its keeper, and there will be great joy and love between them.
